About Us
The Uganda Is Bleeding initiative is a grassroots movement of concerned citizens who are fighting for democracy and human rights in Uganda. We believe that all Ugandans have the right to live in freedom and dignity, and we are committed to working towards a future where everyone is treated equally under the law. The initiative was founded in the wake of the 2021 Ugandan presidential and parliamentary elections, which were widely seen as fraudulent. Since then, we have been organizing weekly protests and other activities to demand that the government respect the will of the people. We are a diverse group of people from all walks of life. We are united by our common belief that Uganda deserves better. We are committed to using peaceful means to achieve our goals, but we will not hesitate to take more drastic measures if necessary. We believe that the future of Uganda depends on the courage and determination of its people. We are calling on all Ugandans to stand up for their rights and to demand a better future for their country.
